Viva Kerala will play its first match in the Bhagath Soccer Tournament tomorrow against Golden Thread, Ernakulam. The opponent is coached by former Viva coach T.K. Chathunni.

Even though Golden Threads has been a low-profile team for many years, the management of the club turned very ambitious and hired seasoned T.K. Chathunni to transform this club into a professional outfit. This means it will be a good test for Viva Kerala tomorrow. Nevertheless, Viva coach A.M. Sreedharan expects a good performance and win of his boys: "We have to do well in these local tournaments to be fit for the 2nd Division I-League which is scheduled to begin in mid-February."

Tomorrow's match will start at 4.00pm on Maharaja's Football Ground in Cochin.

 

Likely Viva lineup: Shahinlal - Sajesh, Noushad, Mansa, Sathish - Firoz - Saleel, Conte, Lalu - Sabeeth, Shibin.
