Issues like recruitment of new promising players, sponsorship matters etc. have to be tackled. It is still not clear if Viva will play in the first division or second division I-League next year. Nevertheless, the coaches and team management are already working on putting together a competitive squad for the season ahead. Negotiations have been held, but the official registration of new players only starts in May. The preparation camp for the season is likely to begin in June after coach A.M. Sreedharan has completed a special intensive coaching course along with the likes of Subhas Bhowmick and Sukwhinder Singh.
