In another exhibition match, Viva Kerala beat Calicut University 1-0 today in Udyogamandal. The university selection is preparing for the All-India University tournament.
The all-important goal was scored by striker C.S. Sabeeth in the first half of the match. Viva's coach Sreedharan was unhappy about his frontline which, according to him, missed at least five sure goals.
The second match will be played on Wednesday at the same venue.
