Viva Kerala outplayed Cochin Port Trust in an exhibition match yesterday by 6-1. Coach Sreedharan was very content with the game and the performance of his boys.
The team is now on its physical peak and the Port Trust team could not match the pace that the Viva players created. Coach Sreedharan fielded his current best eleven. He was also very happy that the boys managed to score six goals which were scored by Sabeeth (3), Shibinlal (2) and Rahul.
Viva also took in young midfielder M.P. Sakeer who was with Malabar United last season. "He is a very talented midfielder and we might sign him in November."
Viva: Shahin Lal - Sajesh, Sathish Kumar, Noushad, Lalu - Firoze - Sakeer, Rahul, Karma - Sabeeth, Shibinlal.
