The arrival of Ghanaian defender George Tutu has been delayed. He was scheduled to arrive yesterday, but due to some pending paperwork, will now reach the city within two days. This was revealed after a phone conversation between Tutu and coach Sreedharan.
Defender A.S. Firoze has now joined the squad in Udyogamandal and is training with the team. Most likely, he will be signed during the November transfer period. In this case, the veteran player is likely to be Viva's captain for the upcoming season.
Apart from this, the team is shaping up well. Especially Shibinlal, Karma and Sabeeth have improved a lot during the last weeks.
