They did not play according to plan: Sreedharan Print E-mail
Monday, 24 December 2007
Viva Kerala's head coach A.M. Sreedharan was very angry with his boys following the heavy 0-5 loss against Churchill Brothers.

"No doubt, we played a very bad game. But the boys did not play according to the gameplan, they rather played their own game", fumed the coach. "I was angry about that, but also told my players not to be too disappointed. Moreover, they told me that they found it difficult to play under the hot Goan conditions. The boys got tired in the 2nd half".

However, this should not serve as any excusion for the Viva Kerala players. "Individually, we are not as strong as East Bengal, Churchill Brothers or Dempo SC. We are a force to be reckoned with if we play as a unit", explained the seasoned coach.

"Another blow for us is the 2nd yellow card for George Tutu. He will miss the crucial match against JCT. I hope that Wisdom Abbey and James Singh will be fit to play then", said Sreedharan.
