Viva's foreign recruits missed the Federation Cup due to problems with their International Transfer Certificate. These however have been resolved as both ITCs have arrived in Kerala.
This was confirmed by team manager Prasanth and means that Sylla Mansa as well as Mohamed Conte would be eligible to play in the upcoming tournaments. Veteran player Firoze has signed for Viva during the December transfer period and he will add some much needed experience.
On another happy note, midfielder Saleel has fully recovered from his injury and is fit to play. The 18-year old was a revelation during last year's I-League and even thougn he was sought after by many clubs, he decided to stick with Viva Kerala.
Assistant coach Binu George has decided to quit his job and he was replaced by Satheesh from Kannur(Army XI).
