 The Viva Kerala squad which will fly to Goa tomorrow in order to face Salgaocar SC in the first I-League match, was announced today. Meanwhile, there is one prominent absentee.
Former India U-19 striker C.S. Sabeeth twisted his knee during training and is likely to miss the first phase of the I-League. As a result, the directors are searching for an Asian striker to fill the gap.
Goalkeepers: Shahinlal Meloly, E.C. Sarath.
Defenders: Sumit Thapa, V.V. Surjith, K. Noushad, Amarwant Singh, Bello Rasaq, Charles Dzisah, P. Sajesh.
Midfielders: Siraj, Patrick Sisupalan, M.P. Sakeer, S. Fredy, T. Karma, P. Rahul.
Forwards: V.K. Shibinlal, Reuben Senyo, K.P. Anish.
