Preparation camp started

The preparation camp of Viva Kerala for the coming season 2009/2010 has started on Monday at FACT grounds in Udyogamandal. Coach A.M. Sreedharan wants to lay the foundations for a strenous season which includes the Federation Cup, I-League and most probably other tournaments.        The camp is going on smoothly so far with almost all players reported except for Patrick Sisupalan and the foreign players. Sumit Thapa will join the squad today while Sakeer and Nidhil are down with fever.    Presently, the focus is on getting all the players back to shape, before the real conditioning starts after three weeks. During the first week, the players are scheduled to take part in one session per day. An additional session per day will be conducted from next week on.   "Everything is going on nicely. We are even ignoring the heavy rains and are working hard. Patrick Sisupalan will join the squad on August 1st while all other foreign players will be with us from the first week of August onwards.", says coach A.M. Sreedharan.
