The committee decided that I-League 2008/2009 will only consist of 12 teams.
The 2-member committee employed by the AIFF recommended that the next I-League shall take place without demoted Viva Kerala and Salgaocar SC much to the disappointment of the clubs' fans. You can read the press release at www.the-aiff.com
