vivakerala.net: First of all, welcome to Viva Kerala. You played for HAL during the last seasons. Why did you to sign for Viva Kerala this year?
Sumit Thapa: Thank you! First of all, I am really delighted to join Viva Kerala. I have joined Viva Kerala for a couple of reasons. First it will give me an opportunity to play in the I-League division 1, secondly it will be very challenging to play in Kerala as Kerala has a very rich tradition in football.

 

vivakerala.net: What is your preferred position on the pitch?
Sumit Thapa: I prefer to play on the left flank preferably the wingback position.

 

vivakerala.net: What is your opinion so far on Viva Kerala?
Sumit Thapa: Viva Kerala have made a remarkable impact in Indian football though it is a relatively new club and have lot of fan following all over India. 

 

vivakerala.net: What are your personal goals for the coming season?
Sumit Thapa: Firstly I would try to develop myself to be a better player and give my best for the coming season.
