Viva Kerala outplayed Central Excise and pumped in nine goals to advance to the finals. The star-performer was Reuben Senyo who netted four goals including a hattrick. The other goals were scored by T. Karma (2), Anish, Nishad and Shibinlal.

 

 

Coach Sreedharan was happy with his boys' performance. "Especially Reuben Senyo was outstanding today. He scored marvellous goals and played well. However, the team may now face difficulties on Sunday when it will face KSEB. Sakeer and Surjith might not take the field as they have signed with K.S.E.B. for the coming season. The institutional club has asked them to abstain from the match.
