India's major sports publication "All Sports Magazine" features the new I-League in its December 2007 issue. Each team participating in the I-League - including Viva Kerala - has been analysed and commented on in this special edition.

Two-time NFL winners Subhas Bhowmick (East Bengal), Subroto Bhattacharya (formerly with Mohun Bagan) and Armando Colaco (Dempo) have been named among the five all-time best coaches of the National Football League from 1996-2007. The trio is mentioned in the honours list of ‘Master Tacticians’ along with Sukhwinder Singh and Derrick Pereira in the I-League Special Issue brought out by the All Sports Magazine in Dec 2007.

The 40-page special issue (in the 120-page magazine) is packed with interesting features on the history of the NFL, the effects of the NFL on the Kolkata clubs and an exclusive interview with India’s football icon, Baichung Bhutia, with contributions from some of the best football writers in the country. In addition, there are statistics and charts, past NFL tables, and analyses, line-ups, pics and interviews with coaches of all the 10 teams taking part in the 2007-08 I-League.

This is the first time that any publication in India has brought out such a comprehensive package devoted to India’s premier club football tournament. Priced at Rs 50, the I-League Special is available at all major stalls and book distribution outlets across the country. It is veritably a collector’s item containing a treasure trove of information for the entire Indian football fraternity comprising clubs, state associations, players, officials and fans which will be preserved for posterity.

About 2,000-3,000 copies of the mag are being distributed free to the participating teams, officials, media, fans etc., at the various venues hosting the matches.
