Dear Fans,
it has been some time since my last entry.
We are still preparing in Udyogamandal by having demanding practice sessions and exhibiton matches. But even though we have a young and talented batch of players, we need improvements. We can't compromise on this matter and thankfully, the management is also very supportive, serious and wants to reinforce the team.
George Tutu will be joining us next week, as well as experienced defender A.S. Firoze who left Kolkata today. Sudheesh and Shibinlal, of Thrissur and Calicut respectively, have also joined us and are doing well.
In Indian football, a lot also depends on the foreign players, especially strikers. We are on the edge of finalizing deals with two foreigners, who currently ply their trade in South-East Asia.
In the coming week, we are about to play two friendly matches. More in my next column!
