Our camp starts!

Dear Viva Fans,

Viva Kerala Football Club's coaching camp for the season 2008/2009 started today, on 1st Chingam, an auspicious day for Malayalees, at 3pm.

Except for the foreign players and young defender Mohammed Helmy, all players attended the inauguration of the camp. To my delight, these young boys are very competent and earnest, even though they lack experience at the big stage. This closed camp may continue till the 2nd Divison I-League which is scheduled in January 2009. Our primary goal will be to gain promotion for the next I-League. After this first session, I feel very optimistic!

To assess the individual performance in the camp, I may write in the coming days in this column.
