Dear Viva Fans,
 
our conditioning camp is now in full swing.  The players are very ambitious and doing well during this first week. Only our young defender K. Noushad had to sit out during the last sessions because of a nibbling injury. According to the physio, he needs some more days rest before he can rejoin the team. All others are doing very well. 
 
Yesterday, we had a cross-country session in which the players covered 9km distance. In the evening, I prepared a special technical training for the players. As I said before, in this first weeks, the emphasis will be on physical conditioning. It is very obvious that each of the players is willing to improve his game and this is very important since most of these boys are still inexperienced at top-level football. That is also why I am on the lookout for two or three more experienced players.
 
K.V. Lalu will join the team on September 1st while Saleel will be here from 15th September on. Both youngsters underwent surgeries some weeks before and still need time to recover. George Tutu, along with two other foreign players, will also join Viva in 2-3 weeks time.
