Viva meet Salgaocar in Fed Cup

Viva Kerala will meet Salgaocar in the last Group A match of the Federation Cup in Silchar. Whether this will be a crucial encounter depends on the first result of the day: Should East Bengal win against JCT, the outcome of the Viva vs. Salgaocar will be inconsequential.
 



In the event of an upset by JCT, Viva will have to win against Salgaocar in order to top the Group and proceed to the semi-finals.

Nonetheless, coach A.M. Sreedharan wants his boys to play a good game and give Salgaocar a run for their money. "The team is doing well and we have solved all problems in defence and midfield". The attacking department however is worrying the seasoned coach. "We are not able to convert our chances into goals. After all, you can only win if you score goals."

Apart from that, captain M.P. Sakeer will have to sit out due to his second booking. Goalkeeper K. Sharat and winger Siraj are also doubtful starters.

Probable line-up:
E.C. Sarath (K. Sharat) - Surjith, Amarwant, Bello, Marsook - Patrick - Karma, Malik, Nishad (Siraj)  - Reuben, Shibinlal.
