Viva Kerala's I-League opener against Salgaocar SC has to be postponed because of the heavy rains and thunderstorms in Goa. Coach Sreedharan is not too happy about this development.
"Now, we have to play our first league match against a strong Churchill Brothers. Salgaoacar had some difficulties itself and had we played against them in the opener, we would have had an easier start into the league. Nevertheless, we will be confident when facing the champions", said the veteran coach.
The team is likely to adopt ay new strategy which will see only one striker who will be supported by a 5-man midfield. "I think it comes as no surprise that we have to take special care of Odafa. He is very dangerous and we have to contain him. It will be our aim to not lose any away matches. By the time that we are playing in Calicut, the team will be on a peak and we will go for maximum points.", explained A.M. Sreedharan.
