Viva demolishes Associated FC

Viva Kerala clearly had the upper hand when it crushed Associated FC by 7-0. This was Viva's first match in the ongoing Kerala State Club Championship.
Guinean import Mohammad Conte opened the scoring off a solo-effort as early as in the 2nd minute. Twelve minutes later, Shibin increased the tally. 
 
The match was entirely dominated by Viva Kerala and India U-19 striker was in superb form as he bagged four goals. He made it 3-0 and 4-0 in the 34th and 43rd minute respectively. During the halftime break, Mohammad Conte was brought off and he was replaced by Shabas Saleel. 
 
Sabeeth completed his hattrick 13 minutes into the second half and Siraj scored another in the 79th minute of the match. It was young Sabeeth again who scored the last goal in the 88th minute.
 
"Nobody thought that we would win this match by a big margin as my boys are very young. But this time, we utilized all the chances that came our way", explained coach A.M. Sreedharan. "The players combined well and due to our fitness level, we have a psychological and physical advantage". The head coach also made clear that tomorrow's game will be a big test for the young team as KSEB is a very good outfit which comprises of experienced players like M.V. Nelson and K.S. Joby. At the same time he criticized the tournament's organisers as the team does not even have one day of rest between the matches.
