Viva Kerala won its first competitive match of the 2008/2009 season by beating Integral Coach Factory 2-1.
India U-19 striker C.S. Sabeeth scored the lead in the 13th minute o the match while his partner upfront, V.K. Shibinlal, added another three minutes into the second half. Dhadeus of ICF reduced the margin in the 60th minute of the match.
A.M. Sreedharan, coach of Viva Kerala, was very happy with his boys' performance and hopes for another good show on Friday, when the team meets local outfit HAL. "It is going to be a very tough match", said Sreedharan after today's outing.
Viva: Shahin Lal - Sajesh, Noushad, Sathish Kumar, Lalu - Manoharan (Karma), Rahul, Sakeer, Sirajuddin - Sabeeth, Shibinlal.
