Once the sponsorship issue is dealt with, I am pretty sure the jersy will be in the market. And that should be done in over about a month. Anyway, I am sure they are working hard at the office. We fans, just have to be patient before wearing the jersy and go to support the Pride of Kerala!

Hey everyone,
if a Viva Kerala jersey were available in fanshops, it would be a major boost for the club. Not only financially, but a lot more people can be attracted to Viva then, too.
And keep in mind that only some Indian clubs are selling their jerseys through fanshops or so at the moment.

It's good to hear that the management wants to buold a professional marketing base. Once there are good sponsors and the financial base has been set, jerseys should be sold throughout Kerala, or Cochin to begin with.
I think, it's only a matter of time.

Btw, how much would you guys be prepared to pay for an official replica jersey of Viva Kerala??

Rgds,
Daniel

i think the pricing should be cheaper compared to the IPL jerseys that cost around 3000 bucks !!!! i dont think people will buy much at that rate.... i saw this poll on orkut community on Rs 1000 for season tickets plus official jerseys and i found it quite reasonable. another little info.. 12 people voted and all of them agreed !!!!

its gud to hear that the club is planning to set up a marketing desk.IT IS VITAL FOR THE CLUBS EXISTENCE.In india MUMBAI FC has go it.they organise fan meets, child support systems, mall publicity etc. Here we can hav our own ideas.

I WOULD RECOMMEND A PERMANENT HOME JERSEY FOR THE CLUB.IT SHOULD BE DESIGNED KEEPING IN MIND OUR CULTURE AND KNOWLEDGE OF FOOTBALL TEAMS ALL AROUND THE WORLD.IT SHOULD BE AN ICONIC ONE OF THE LIKES OF FC BARCELONA,AC MILAN,INTER MILAN,BOCA JUNIORS ETC. ALL THE BEST

The club emblem itself has a good marketing scope. The figure of the coconut tree could itself be used. (May be in distant future only, still) Small coconut tree models that could be used during the matches by holding them in the hands could be a good feeling. A deal with coconut corporation board, he he. dreams! I wish i could see thousands punching the air with coconut tree models while cheering for the team inside kaloor stadium.

ok, being realistic now.

The present home jersey is fine, distinct, and ideal. that should stay. may be, a bit more thought on its design should do. highlighting or at least, putting on the jersey something distinct to kerala culture would be good. the colour of the jersey is fine.
