Viva Kerala opened its E.K. Nayannar Gold Cup campaign by drawing with Kolkata's Mohammedan Sporting Club (2-2). Viva was leading 2-0 after the first 45 minutes, but conceded 2 goals in the latter part of the match. Both goals for Viva were scored by Shibinlal.

 Viva Kerala is getting ready for the high-profile E.K. Nayanar Trophy. The team reached Kannur yesterday after its match in Mumbai against Mumbai FC. Viva's first match is scheduled for Sunday, February 7th at 6pm against Kolkata's Mohammedan Sporting Club.
