Viva Kerala and East Bengal played out a 1-1 draw in Kolkata. Viva took the lead in the 10th minute through C.S. Sabeeth, but East Bengal managed to equalise seven minutes later. This was the last I-League 2009/2010 match for Viva Kerala. The match report is now online.

Even if Shillong Lajong wins its next match and Viva Kerala loses against East Bengal, the North-Eastern club cannot overtake Viva as per I-League regulations, the head-to-head record is more decisive than the overall goal-difference.
